Let's paint a town ; We'll shut it down .

19th February 2010 ; Friday .

During the Chinese New Year holidays , Caryn , Nicole and I organised a potluck party. It was held at Fan Leon's place . When everyone arrived, most of them gambled . The rest just sat around, talking and listening to music .

After the first gambling session, we ate. At first, we were so worried that the food might not be enough, but turns out, it was more than enough . After eating, we played games. The first game was something like musical chairs. Except that we had to pass a cup of chili and tomato sauce around the circle while the music is playing . When the music stops, the 2 people that are holding the chili and tomato sauce cup has to put an amount of chili/tomato sauce on the other person's face and vice versa . Quite a lame game , but it was fun. And the second game we played was truth or dare . Baahahaa, the boys had to do such gay stuff :B But, it was all for the fun of it :P

Had another gambling session after that. No, i didn't gamble AT ALL. I sat on the couch and talked to people :) I know i know , cny is all about the gambling and angpau's . But No thank you. I dont gamble :)

Its sunday night already! Time flies, doesnt it? It's like one minute your stuffing food down your throat during chinese new year, and the next minute you're back to school. Didn't do much today. Just got some stuff ready for school. Ahh, school tomorrow . Another boring school day, i'm sure . But ahh, i guess it'll be okay .

I turned on the aircond and watched tv. I was lying down and thought to myself, ' It's really hot! ' But i thought Its okay since i just turned on the aircond, it'll get cooler soon. But it got hotter and sweat started pouring down from my body. I looked up at the aircond only to find out that the aircond wasn't even on. FML.

CNY - 2010

Chinese New Year falls on a different day every year. Of all the traditional chinese festivals, Chinese New Year is one of the most colourful and exciting celebtration. Before this holiday, every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any bad fortune in hopes to make way for good luck. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour packets or even cloths. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, the family will get together and have a reuinion dinner. The next morning, children will greet their parents by wishing them a happy new year, and receive money. The Chinese New Year tradition is a great way to forget all grudges, and sincerely wish peace and happiness to everyone.

Having that said, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year!

Life .

I may not be your favourite, someone you'll look up to or someone you would like to remember. But, its okay. I think i did what i had to do. And that is to tell the truth. Okay, so maybe i was a little ( more like really ) rude, selfish, annoying.. Practically everything bad you can think of. Well, i won't blame you for thinking all those because i myself realized it.

Friday; 5th February 2010 .

The day started pretty much the same. It rained cats and dogs in the morning. However, i still reached school early. Econs and accounts was totally boring. Talked throughout the whole 4 periods and learnt nothing. As usual .

After school , Sitpeng and I followed caryn home. We went to her house, followed by Tropicana City. Met up with nicole and huixian later on. The plan was to go back to school after lunch, but it rained very heavily again. So we decided to skip practice. Walked around Tropicana Mall until 5ish, And went back to school after that. Overall a very satisfying day :)

NETBALL.

Had netball the other day. It rained after about an hour into practice. It was pretty heavy so we had to stop. Stayed back for quite abit with a few of them and went home as soon as the rain stopped .
